Here are some awesome new additions to the arrowhead collection.  The purple sparkling material looks like some kind of fancy car paint.  We found it at a rock shop in El Paso.  They told us it was adventurine, but it doesn’t look like any adventurine I’ve ever seen.  Some of it is a deep purple, and some a midnight blue.

Cradleboards are still used by the Apache people today, although not as much as in the past.  My son spent the first few months of his life in a cradleboard.

Today, cradleboards can be found in all sizes, including tiny earrings.  Many people hang a smaller version on the wall for decoration.
