Spring Gobbler 2010

Sam got 2 decent gobblers this spring. The wings will be used for arrows. He skins the entire turkey and sells the pelt. Feel free to contact us if you’re interested in a turkey pelt minus the wings.

Wild turkey isn’t easy to cook. It has absolutely zero fat and is easy to make tough and dry. I like to put it in a pressure cooker after marinating it in lime juice, olive oil, and garlic plus salt and pepper. Sometimes I add balsamic vinegar. It really helps to marinate it overnight.
